Haunted Storm Window before it was finished. This is what it looks like with the shutters open with everything turned off.

The flood light I was using was WAY too bright for the effect I was going for. I ended up using like a 15 or 25 watt bulb in the end.

The rain effect is achieved with blue and white twinkle lights set on random. It shines on the rain mylar which is being blown around by a small fan. Add the flash from the lightning (light fixture connected to a light organ feeding off of the thunder sound and you have a storm window!

When hinges creak in doorless chambers and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls, whenever candlelight's flicker where the air is deathly still, that is the time when ghosts are present, practicing their terror with ghoulish delight.
